Hygiene and food safety
HDPE doesn’t absorb moisture or odours, so bins don’t hold the smell of yesterday’s catch. They can be cleaned with hot water and standard sanitisers, which makes them easy to fit into a HACCP-based cleaning schedule. There are no seams or timber grain for bacteria to hide in.
